Cancelation/make up policy:
48 hour notice prior to scheduled lesson is required to make up the lesson time.
Make up lessons must be scheduled within the month of the missed lesson.
Students may NOT deduct the amount from your missed lessons in their next months tuition.

Sick Policy:
Please cancel by 8am the morning of lessons if your child is sick.
If your instructor is sick, lessons will be cancelled and rescheduled. ​
Do not attend in person lessons if you are unsure of the status of your health. Virtual lessons are always
available. Students will be sent home if a fever or sickness is present.

Practicing:
Practicing daily is crucial. An intense daily practice schedule is not always realistic. Practice is not always done with the instrument. Listening to your CD in the car or while eating breakfast is considered part of practice. Keep practice consistent and make it part of your daily routine if you want to see progress and success. The parent involvement with scheduling practice is very important to the younger students who lack the self-discipline to plan their day.

Group Classes:
Group classes are available if we have at least 4 students of similar age/ability register together.

Rewards:
Certificates, Gift cards, Ribbons, Stickers, etc. will be awarded to those who show excellent practice techniques.
Students will be awarded trophies when completing a Book.
​
Recitals/Performances:
2 recitals will be scheduled each year for students to play for their families and peers. Other community performances may also be available for students.
Security:
Please notify Sargent Strings of any health problems or other disabilities that may be applicable.
Studio Closed:
The Studio follows the school schedule and takes off the weeks of Christmas Break, Spring Break, and other national holidays. Please check the calendar for up to date information.
